ok new stupid question, my mom is a domestic freak and hates the shit out of my sentra and hates that i blew her pontiac out of the water. so she wants another shot and therefore she wants more power, handling, the whole works. so heres the question, is a 1999 pontiac grand prix gt a good car for her to have with a high amount of power and will she be able to handle it? we have a small budget so whatever there is it has to be cheap. take time to research as i do the same
She doesn't know man lol it is my mom, but I want to help her. I've been looking but all I can find is rims and body kits for them but I haven't looked hard enough for sure. Maybe if I look up parts for the monte carlo I might find something bc they are both alike right? But stock they are around 295 to 300 hp I think and it already has a catback exhaust on it and it's flowmaster. Imma keep lookin and will ask questions and let you know what's up whenever I get the time, later.
Well, I was meaning to say does she want to keep the GP for awhile or does she want something newer. She should pick her platform (a car she loves) and then build it vice start with what she has and then make it do. If she loves the GP, I think they make a supercharger kit for the 3.8L. GM used that engine in quite a few vehicles for quite a few years so there is bound to be some aftermarket support.
oh shit sorry, yeah shes keeping it and drives it everyday but we have a jeep so she can drive that back and forth till the prix is done. its not bad for a pontiac, the damn thing can burn some rubber stock even with traction control on but that last gear in the automatic tranny of hers killed her and thats how i beat her. we were side by side till she caught that last one.
